Canada-based nutrient management systems developer Ostara Nutrient Recovery Technologies Inc. has announced the completion of a preferred equity financing with over $11 million in aggregate proceeds.
Ostara Nutrient Recovery intends to use the proceeds to further advance near-term scaling of its fertilizer production.
Ostara Nutrient Recovery also plans to back its continued extension within the international nutrient recovery and fertilizer sales markets.
UK investment company Wheatsheaf Group Limited and U.S.-based VantagePoint Capital Partners co-led the financing with follow-on participation by other existing Ostara backers.
