Turtlemint Insurance Pvt. Ltd., an Indian online insurance platform, has landed $25 million in fresh funding.
The round was spearheaded by Sequoia Capital. Existing backers including Nexus Venture Partners and Blume Ventures also joined in the round.
With the net income, Turtlemint will expand its partner network by ten times over the next 4 to 6 quarters as well as investing in technology businesses.
Furthermore, the company also plans to hire about 100 more people in technology roles using the funds raised.
