Romgaz, a Romania-based natural gas producer, plans to invest 1.6 billion Romanian new leu ($401 million) for new power plant in 2018.
Half of the money will be used for the construction of the new Iernut Thermal Power Plant.
The rest of the money will be allocated to the exploration, development, production and, of course, the increase of the storage capacity.
The first-semester Romgaz managed to invest the amount of $163.7 million, more than three times the same period of the previous year $56 million, the investments being financed exclusively from own sources company.
