Sproutl, a UK online gardening marketplace, has secured around 7.6 million euros ($8.9 million) in its seed funding round.
Conducted by venture capital firm Index Ventures, the seed financing round also had participation from Ada Ventures, as well as angel backers.
Sproutl is planning to use the money raised from the investment round to launch its platform and for expansion.
Furthermore, the company will also use the new funds to expand its team and hire senior talent from brands such as Soho House Group, Selfridges, among others.
