British real estate investment trust company Supermarket Income REIT revealed that it has purchased Sainsbury’s supermarket in Cheltenham.

Supermarket Income REIT bought the property in the south-west of England from London-based financial services company Legal & General.

With a total investment of 60.4 million pounds ($76.4 million), Supermarket Income acquired the supermarket, which has a 12-pump petrol filling station and more than 390 parking spaces.

Originally developed in the 1980s, the 62,000 square foot store was extensively refurbished and extended in 2007.
