UK-based food manufacturing company Bakkavor has acquired desserts company Haydens Bakery from peer Real Good Food for 12 million pounds ($15.5 million).
Bakkavor said in the statement that this acquisition will grow both capacity and product offering in the desserts category, and widening its business.
Bakkavor also expects the deal to significantly expand its presence in the United Kingdom desserts segment.
Real Good Food expects this disposal to mark an important next step in the restructuring and performance improvement and in line with its turnaround plan.
