U.S. CuriosityStream secures $140 mln in private placement offering

U.S.-based factual streaming service provider CuriosityStream has secured about $140 million in a private placement offering.

Backers in the placement included Blum Capital Ventures and TimesSquare Capital Management.

CuriosityStream has raised a total of $254.7 million in funding over two rounds.

CuriosityStream, which has $2 million in revenue annually, hired Stifel Investment Banking to act as placement agent for the offering.
