U.S. LTC inks $17 mln JV deal to buy English Meadows Campus in Virginia

U.S. real estate investment trust LTC Properties Inc. has inked a real estate joint venture (JV) deal with an affiliate of assisted living facilities operator English Meadows Senior Living Communities to buy English Meadows Abingdon Campus in Abingdon, Virginia.

LTC Properties said that the campus will be acquired for approximately $17 million.

English Meadows Abingdon Campus, which comprises 74 assisted living and memory care units, has a stabilized occupancy of 90 percent.

Following closure, the property will be operated by English Meadows Senior Living Communities, a new operating partner for LTC.
