U.S.-based medical care company Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) announced that it plans to extend its hospital in Braselton, Georgia.

The expansion plan will include adding 24 acute care inpatient beds to the fourth floor, which is still under construction, as well as completing the interior and buying all of the necessary equipment of the unfinished unit.

Northeast Georgia Medical Center, operated by Northeast Georgia Health System, said that the project will cost around $12 million.

If approved, the project will start in July 2019 and get finished by April 1, 2020.
