New York LaGuardia Airport Marriott (NYLA), run by U.S.-based hospitality company Marriott International Inc., has closed a $30 million property renovation project.
The project included the East Elmhurst hotel, which now has 443 guest rooms and suites, club lounge, meeting space, and public spaces, including the newly opened Ditmars Bar and Grill.
New York LaGuardia Airport Marriott said that the renovation was done by U.S.-based luxury hospitality design firm Krause Sawyer.
The upgrade fits with a reinvention of ageing LaGuardia airport and surrounding areas including a new, modern look, as well as improved access to the facility.
