Rubrik, a California-based data management company, has secured $260 million in a Series E funding round.
The company intends to use the funding to boost product development and launches across 2019 that will solve customer challenges and extend its strategic footprint in the enterprise market.
The Series E round included new backer Bain Capital Ventures alongside existing backers Lightspeed Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures and IVP.
The funding round brings Rubrik’s valuation to more than $3 billion.
