Australian copper mining and exploration company Aeris Resources Ltd. has offered to acquire the CSA copper mine in New South Wales state for $575 million.

The company will purchase the mine from Switzerland-based Aeris Resources Glencore.

Aeris Resources said that late-stage negotiations on the offer are ongoing.

The offer consists $525 million in cash, $50 million in Aeris Resources shares and a royalty payable to Glencore.
