Ranfurlie Developments, the Australian retail and commercial arm Dennis Family Corp., plans to invest $60 million to extend Manor Lakes Central, a shopping centre in Australia.
The construction project, expected to double the size of the centre, will begin in the coming weeks.
The project will be led by a new-concept Kmart, that will span 5200 square metres and include defined product areas, a central self-service checkout and wider aisles for easier pram and wheelchair access.
The expansion will also coincide with a refurbishment of the existing centre, both scheduled for completion in early 2020, and create about 300 construction jobs over coming months.
