Australian real estate investment trust Vicinity Centres has divested Keilor Central, a sub-regional shopping centre in Melbourne, to Fort Street, subsidiary of financial services firm Evans Dixon Ltd.

Fort Street paid approximately $113 million for the shopping centre to Vicinity.

The shopping centre, a 19,700 square metre mall on Taylors Road in Keilor Downs, was acquired on an initial yield of 6.3 percent and is almost fully occupied.

Canadian real estate company Colliers International acted as a negotiator on the sale of the Keilor Central.
