Australian energy infrastructure operator and distributor Jemena has agreed to buy oil and gas exploration and production company Senex Energy's Roma North gas processing facility.
Under the $50 million transaction, Jemena will take ownership of the facility and pipeline after achieving the agreed performance tests, expected in September 2019.
On the closure of the transaction, Jemena will own and operate both gas processing facilities at Project Atlas and Roma North.
Senex expects to use the sale proceeds to back the continued development of its Surat Basin gas developments and other growth projects.
