Chilean biotech startup Bifidice has raised $850,000 in funding from Südlich Capital and angel investors Fernando Rex, Thomas Otesen, and Gabriel Salinas. The funds will be utilized to fuel international expansion, expand the team, and introduce new product lines. Founded in 2016 by Antje Bracker and Anastasia Gutkevich, Bifidice specializes in probiotics technology-infused ice cream with the aim of reducing allergies and chronic diseases. Currently operating in Chile, Colombia, and Argentina, the funding injection positions Bifidice for further growth and innovation in the biotech ice cream sector.
