Canadian property developer Alate Partners has closed $40 million in a seed financing round.
With the partnership with Canadian real estate company Dream Unlimited and venture firm Relay Ventures, Alate will build an ecosystem that brings together leading property technology innovators with influential real estate owners, operators and managers.
Alate is seeking to invest and buy property assets focused on existing property technology startups and ideas on funding, developing and adopting technology to help improve the property and real estate market.
On November 13, 2018, Alate Partner invested more than $5 million in U.S.-based technology company ParkWhiz’s Series D funding round.
