Canada’s Brookfield to buy U.S. PGA National Resort for $233 mln

Canadian financial services company Brookfield Asset Management signed a contract to buy the Palm Beach Gardens resort, PGA National Resort and Spa.

Brookfield Private Real Estate Fund will pay $233 million for the resort, or $687,316 per room.

A sale to Brookfield could mean a big upgrade at PGA National.

The deal is expected to close by the end of the year.
