Canadian healthcare services provider Centric Health has secured a long-term funding deal of more than 50 million euros ($57.4 million) following an investment in the company earlier this year by French merchant bank Rothschild.

Centric said that the funding will allow it to make a significant investment into its primary care practices specifically into its information technology infrastructure, practice premises and investment in the development of new services that can be delivered in a primary care setting.

The company secured the funding from a consortium of banks arranged by Ulster Bank and Bain Capital.

The latest transaction provides cash for acquisitions and for Centric to develop new services to roll out in its network of primary care centers.
