Canadian real estate investment firm Crestpoint Real Estate Investments, a unit of Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial, and peer Anthem Properties, a unit of Anthem Capital Corp., have bought Tillicum Centre, a shopping center in Saanich, in a transaction worth $110 million.

Crestpoint and Anthem Properties bought the property from Toronto-based RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust.

Tillicum has over 40 stores and anchor tenants including, Lowe’s, Save-On-Foods, London Drugs and Winners.

Anthem Properties said that the purchase adds to the company’s Greater Victoria portfolio, Market Square, Union and the Dominion Rocket, and strengthens its the strategy in the region.
