Canadian power utility company Ontario Power Generation (OPG) has divested the 16 hectares, 40-acre, Hearn generating site on Toronto’s east waterfront.
OPG said it sold the land and plant to Studios of America basically for public use.
The land and the Hearn power generating station was acquired for $16 million.
In 2012, OPG generated $4 billion in revenue.
