Canada Royal Milk, a milk products unit of Chinese dairy products maker Feihe International, is planning to construct a $225 million infant formula plant in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Canada Royal Milk is also seeking to hire about 100 positions at the new facility. Among the positions available are senior management positions, production jobs, engineering jobs and quality control jobs.
The company, which plans to invest in new employees for the long-term, will begin hiring at a supervisory level, production level and with a mix of experienced workers and new graduates.
The opening of the plant is scheduled in late 2019 and Canada Royal Milk expects to start with two production shifts and once up to full capacity is expected to employ about 250 people.
