Toronto-based ArcTern Ventures, a clean technology early-stage venture capital firm, announced that it has held the second closing of its Fund II.

With the second closing of Fund II, the total fundraising amount has been boosted from $150 million to $200 million.

ArcTern Ventures secured the additional capital from new investors including TD Bank Group, Suncor, top family offices, among others.

Additionally, another Canadian pension fund joined anchor investors, which include the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System, Equinor and others in the latest investment.
