iGan Partners, a Canadian early-stage venture capital firm, has raised $50 million in the second close of its Fund I.

Fund I, which invests in early-stage digital health, internet and software companies, was originally announced in June 2015, under the name Rowanwood Ventures Fund, Rowanwood Investment Fund II.

With the new capital raise, bringing the fund's total funding to $100 million, iGan will continue to focus its investments on digital health, medical devices, healthcare information technology, and artificial intelligence.

Recently, Fund I, which has received backing from family offices and high net worth individuals, participated in a $2 million seed funding round for Canadian software company OrbCare.
