Canadian industrial real estate properties developer Nexus REIT has completed the acquisition of four industrial properties in Fort St. John, B.C., Estevan, Sask. and Blackfalds and Medicine Hat in Alberta.
Nexus REIT, which closed on $91.5 million in acquisitions last year, acquired the industrial properties in a $31 million transaction.
Appraised in December for $40 million, the four buildings, with leases ranging from four to seven years, are occupied by construction firm MasTec Canada.
In May Last year, Nexus bought a 177,490-square-foot single-tenant industrial building and a multi-tenant sports mall in Richmond, B.C. for $57.4 million.
