Vancouver-based Terramera, an agriculture clean-technology company, has secured $45 million in a fresh investment round.

The Series B round was conducted by new backer, Ospraie Ag Science and existing investor, Seed2Growth Ventures.

Terramera is planning to use the money raised from the round to advance its technology, boost research and development as well as sales and marketing.

More so, the startup has so far raised a total of $79.3 million in over five funding rounds.
