Canada-based OMERS Ventures, a venture arm of pension fund company OMERS, has established in Europe with a dedicated 300 million euros ($338.9 million) fund.
The fund, with an average ticket of $5.6 million to $11.2 million, will infuse in startups across the continent.
The new vehicle will target companies at Series A and B stage.
OMERS Ventures said that it has the capacity to follow on strongly in later rounds.
