Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (CAPREIT) has divested a portfolio comprised of 18 Dutch multifamily properties.
The portfolio, dubbed the Eagle Portfolio, has 943 residential suites in seven urban centers in the Netherlands.
CAPREIT sold the properties to Toronto-based European Residential Real Estate Investment Trust (ERES) for a total of 170.5 million euros ($186 million).
More so, the assets are located in Amsterdam, The Hague and Utrecht, as well as smaller cities including Cuijk, Enschede, Gouda, Heerenveen, Huizen, Ijsselstein, Koog aan de Zaan, Meppel, Oldenzaal, Scherpenzeel and Warnsveld.
