China’s SenseTime Group to earn about $2 bln in new funding round

Chinese artificial-intelligence startup SenseTime Group Ltd. is planning to land a new financing round.

SenseTime Group will earn around $2 billion in fresh funding in this year.

The startup, which is in discussions with advisers on the fundraising, counts Chinese technology to retail company Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.

Last year, SenseTime Group bagged more than $1.2 billion in total funding.
