Beijing ByteDance Technology Co Ltd., a Chinese internet technology company, plans to make a $1 billion investment in India over the next three years.
As part of the investment, the company plans to increase the number of employees in India to 1,000 by the end of this year.
In 2018, Bytedance secured a $1.5 billion investment from Softbank.
The company was valued at more than $75 billion.
