Chinese private equity firm Cindat Capital Management is close to purchasing 30 South Colonnade, an office building on London’s Canary Wharf.

Under the transaction, Cindat Capital Management has partnered with U.S. investment management firm Oaktree Capital Management to buy the asset from HNA Group, a Chinese tourism to logistics company.

The deal will enable Cindat and its partners, which include Quadrant Estates, to acquire the 305,000 square foot office building, that is currently occupied by Thomson Reuters.

More so, in February of this year, Cindat entered into a sale and purchase agreement with HNA Group for the property at a price of 135 million pounds ($176 million).
