Vanward, a household appliances and heat exchangers manufacturer based in China, is set to establish a factory in the Sokhna industrial zone in Egypt. Collaborating with industrial developer TEDA-Egypt, the project involves a $12 million investment and spans 26,000 square meters. Anticipated to generate around three hundred jobs, with 90 percent allocated for Egyptian workers, this initiative aligns with Vanward's commitment to local employment and economic development. The construction is slated for completion within nine months.
The collaboration reflects the fruitful outcomes of promotional tours in 2023, resulting in expansions of existing projects and the initiation of new ventures. SCZONE's Chairman expressed satisfaction with the partnership's success and announced plans for a new promotional tour to China in May, aiming to further strengthen the partnership and explore additional opportunities for cooperation.
