HiScene, a Chinese augmented reality (AR) solution provider, has secured 250 million yuan ($35 million) in its Series C funding round.

Yangtze River Delta Collaborative Advantage Industry Fund led the financing, which was joined by existing backer, Shanghai Panxi Capital Management Co., Ltd.

HiScene intends to use the money raised from the funding for research and development, as well as commercialization of its current solutions.

HiScene, with approximately $6 million in revenue annually, has raised a total of $69.8 million in over four funding rounds.
