Canada, Toronto-based fintech firm Clearco has successfully raised $60 million in Series D funding to bolster its position as a leading provider of growth capital to e-commerce companies. The funding round was spearheaded by Inovia Capital and Founders Circle Capital. Concurrently, Clearco also announced the finalization of a committed asset-backed facility from Pollen Street Capital, specifically allocated to funding revenue-based advances for e-commerce enterprises approved through Clearco's AI-driven underwriting model. This influx of capital will be utilized to recapitalize Clearco's business and strengthen its mission to offer e-commerce businesses accessible and business-friendly capital without the drawbacks of equity dilution or concealed costs. Under the guidance of CEO Andrew Curtis, Clearco has significantly evolved its product strategy over the last year, focusing on a streamlined capital solution called Invoice Funding. This offering provides predictable payment amounts and terms, enabling e-commerce businesses to obtain working capital for scaling operations and optimizing cash flow. Clearco, leveraging advanced AI and proprietary machine learning technology, has supported over 10,000 e-commerce enterprises, advancing a total of $2.5 billion to facilitate their growth journey.
