AI-enabled diagnostic technology company Covera Health, based in NYC, USA, has raised up to $50 million in additional Series C funding. The round, led by Insight Partners, includes $25 million that has already been committed. This fresh funding, along with the acquisition of CoRead, an AI quality assurance company utilized by over 2,000 hospital sites nationwide, positions Covera Health to enhance and expand its two-sided marketplace connecting payers and providers. As part of the acquisition, Lawrence Ngo, former CEO of CoRead, will join Covera Health as Senior Vice President, Quality Assurance Platform, reporting to President Aaron Friedkin.
