Danish smoked sausage and hot dog products manufacturer Salm Partners LLC is preparing to commit $35 million in expansion projects in southeastern Brown County, Wisconsin, U.S.

The proposed new plant, to be situated just east of I-43 off Hager Road, will be hosted in an 80,000 square foot building which will accommodate a new production line employing 80 workers.

The site is anticipated to eventually cover a 300,000 square feet area accommodating six production lines and employing 400 people in the future.

The company expects to create 400 jobs in the long term and 80 new jobs in the next couple of years. Salm’s other projects planned in Brown County include a 24-hour Kwik Trip store, a banquet hall by De Grand Family Restaurant.
