Parma, Italy-based food tech startup, Dreamfarm, has raised €5 million in funding. The investment came from experienced entrepreneurs Giampaolo Cagnin and Francesco Mutti. Dreamfarm is known for its plant-based alternative to mozzarella, offered in liquid and spreadable versions with a nutriscore A rating. The company was founded in 2021 by Maddalena Zanoni and Mattia Sandei, with Giovanni Menozzi serving as CEO. This funding will be used to expand operations, broaden its business reach, and continue the development of its plant-based food products. Dreamfarm has already invested in building a production facility in Sala Baganza (Parma), equipped to optimize its unique and proprietary manufacturing process.
