Egyptian education technology (edtech) firm Crafty Workshop has secured a $400,000 investment round from EdVentures. Crafty Workshop specializes in supporting handicrafts through its digital educational platform, offering a wide range of creative courses, training programs, and workshops in areas such as crafts, design, photography, programming, game development, and animation. EdVentures has a strategic objective to advance the educational technology sector and nurture entrepreneurial talent in this field. This marks EdVentures' second investment in Crafty Workshop, which is one of four startups supported by the company and has drawn interest from Saudi and international investors due to its significant impact on the education sector.

In addition to Crafty Workshop, EdVentures supports three other startups, that is, OBM, an Egyptian company offering training, qualification programs, and career guidance for students; Akhdar, an Egyptian enterprise providing cultural book summaries via a digital application; and Jeel, a Saudi firm offering an educational and entertaining mobile application for children. EdVentures' investment in Crafty Workshop represents a positive development for Egypt's edtech sector, highlighting the company's commitment to innovative startups that are reshaping the way people learn and acquire new skills.
