Egypt-based educational technology startup iSchool has raised $4.5 million in a funding round led by VentureWave Capital to support its global expansion, including the establishment of a new team in Dublin, Ireland. Founded in 2018, iSchool specializes in live, gamified coding classes for students aged six to eighteen, covering in-demand skills such as Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, application development, game development, and web development.

With a strong presence in the Middle East and North Africa, the startup has played a leading role in computer science labs, technical training, and partnerships with thirty-five schools, initiating national-level programs in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Boasting over twenty-six thousand students, 1 million training hours, and 10 million lines of code written, iSchool's funding aims to fuel its expansion plans, with the Dublin office serving as a strategic hub for international operations and facilitating entry into new markets.
