Finnish bakery, confectionery, biscuit and grain products maker Fazer Group will infuse 40 million euros ($45.7 million) in a new production facility in Lahti, Finland.
Fazer said that the infusion will boost its position as a forerunner in value-added grain-based products, as well as creating 30 new jobs in Lahti.
The investment, which consists of several new initiatives to be published in March, will take place in 2019 to 2020, with work at the site to start as soon as possible.
With the expansion plans, Fazer will also transform into a modern sustainable food company and further expand in Northern Europe and selected international markets.
