Helsinki-based private regional air travel company Lygg has secured over 3.6 million euros ($3.9 million) in funding. The round was led by Superhero Capital and will be utilized to expand Lygg's routes to key European locations including Rotterdam, Stockholm, Aberdeen, and Frankfurt. The company also aims to enhance its reservation portal, integrating it with major travel management companies' booking tools.

Lygg offers passengers direct connections through private aircraft and electric vehicles for regional air travel. Additionally, it provides operators of small aircraft assets with a digitalized and shared fleet management solution, ensuring predictable income through recurring aircraft privatizations and flight subscriptions. Since commencing operations in June 2022, Lygg has completed numerous flights to multiple European countries, establishing its presence in the regional air travel market.
