Ford, one of the leading automakers in the United States, aims to market hybrid (petrol-electric) versions of all US models for its future plans by 2022.

Entering the electric vehicle market, Ford plans to offer the electric model of the luxury brand Lincoln. According to data obtained from sources, Ford will boost the production of Lincoln hybrid cars and will give place to offer at least 18 new electric and hybrid models over the course of five years.

Having planned to produce the local Lincoln brand in China, Ford also intends to generate luxury SUVs in the country by the end of 2019 in March, as it aims to catch up with its German and American rivals. China attempted to concert a domestic production by planning to manufacture a new sports car suitable to Chinese taste.

Despite the increased sales by  180%  in 2016, the new models of Lincoln cars imported to China are expected to be risky for brands’s future in  China.

Many brands  started the production of electric vehicles as it has made a major percentage of the automobile market in recent years. Attempts of leading automobile manufacturers like Daimler AG, BMW, Zhejiangy Glee Holding Group to produce electric vehicles as Volvo and Jaguar Land Rover have become a push for Ford to manufacture in the market.

Lincoln plans to introduce plug-in (hybrid) versions of these vehicles, starting with the redesigned MKC and the new Avant Crossover model to be released in 2019. It is also anticipated that in 2019 a conventional hybrid version will be released for the redesigned Lincoln Navigator, which will soon be on sale.

Ford has previously announced that it will invest $ 4.5 billion in the hybrid version of the Mustang and F-150 in 2016 and the electric version of some of its US fleet, including at least 11 different models.

Elon Musk, the most famous name for electric vehicle production in recent years, has been competing with Tesla, which makes up many new models, the increasing demand for electric vehicles in  China , the  biggest automobile market,  is expected to boost the sales of electric vehicles in the world.
