French telecommunications company Orange Business Services (OBS), part of Orange SA, has won a $25 million contract with Australian engineering company Aurecon to maintain Aurecon's existing infrastructure with its Flexible SD-WAN.

Under the deal, Orange will manage networking and security services across Aurecon’s 60 sites spread over 20 countries.

Orange said the new deal will leverage its Flexible SD-WAN offered via both Cisco-Viptela technology and Riverbed’s SteelConnect technology.

Aurecon, which has annual revenue of about $7.08 million, said that the managed SD-WAN service will reduce the complexity of its infrastructure, strengthen its application performance, and improve its agility.
