German telecommunications services company Envia Tel intends to inject 100 million euros ($113.7 million) over the next five years to expand its fibre network.
Envia Tel plans to build about 350 projects by 2023 to connect businesses, particularly in central Germany, the south of Brandenburg, Saxony, south of Saxony-Anhalt and east of Thuringia.
The initial construction stage will begin in 2019 with 35 projects, and an additional 100 will follow in 2020.
The fibre connections are constructed directly into the buildings with symmetric transmission speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second.
