German home appliances manufacturer BSH Household Appliances' India unit plans to invest more than  800 crore rupees ($108.7 million) over the next five years in its ambition to become one of the leading companies in the white goods space by 2025.

The investment will be made largely for new factories, research and development and brand development.

BSH said that it will continue to build and consolidate on current launches and next year the company will benefit from that and it is are expecting a similar growth rate next year.

The company has launched its luxury range Gaggenau in India this year which includes an entire range of built-in home appliances like refrigerators, dishwashers, cooking appliances. The company also expects to grow the franchise base of its exclusive stores.
