German esports organizer and production company ESL and U.S. semiconductor manufacturing company Intel have revealed an extension to their collaboration with the aim to continue the development of esports worldwide.

With the collaboration, $100 million will be infused into various esports programs, including the Intel Extreme Masters, Intel Grand Slam and ESL Pro League, over the next three years.

Intel Corp said that the collaboration will bolster the rapid evolution of esports, adding that the company is committed to ushering in this new era with technology solutions that place the gaming community and fans first.

ESL said that the extended collaboration with Intel opens even more opportunities for the company to take its efforts to a whole different level on a worldwide scale.
