German energy provider Energie und Wasser Potsdam (EWP) plans to infuse 700 million euros (around $792 million) in its networks expansion by 2030.

EWP will infuse in the infrastructure of its water and district heating network with around $373.7 million in both areas.

The company will invest another $45.3 million for accompanying projects such as the information technology areas to enhance control systems.

EWP will work out a concept for the transformations in the district heating network in the next five years with a pilot plant in Heinrich-Mann-Allee, costing about $10.34 million, to be closed by 2022.
