NuCom, the e-commerce arm of German mass media company ProSiebenSat.1 Media, intends to acquire the control of online home brokerage services Aroundhome in a 140 million euros ($161 million) deal.

NuCom said that the move will boost online growth as its core advertising-funded television business struggles.

In connection with the deal, U.S.-based private equity firm General Atlantic will switch its stake in Aroundhome for an increased holding in NuCom, which will rise to 28.4 percent.

NuCom aims to achieve a revenue of  $2.3 billion by 2023.
