Amazone H. Dreyer GmbH & Co. KG, a German agricultural machinery manufacturer, has opened its a new 16 million euros ($18.2 million) factory in the Schleptrup industrial area near Bramsche.

The new factory includes assembly, dispatch and storage halls, spanning a floor area of 16,000 square meters as well as an administration building.

The facility is now up and running, final assembly of UX trailed sprayers has already been transferred to the new site. Over the course of 2019, the number of employees based there is expected to rise to 150.

The site encompasses 24 hectares in total. In this first step, 5 hectares have now been built on leaving scope for further development. It’s located about 25 kilometers by road from Amazone’s head office in Hasbergen-Gaste.
