German building materials company HeidelbergCement intends to commit 25 million euros ($28.2 million) in its Togolese subsidiaries.

The Togolese subsidiaries include Cimtogo, Scantogo and Granutogo.

HeidelbergCement is planning to invest in its unit's projects, which includes the installation of a new grinder in Lomé, and a solar photovoltaic plant to fuel factories.

The company intends to submit the investment programme to its board for approval at the beginning of the summer.
